Etna Excursion

An enchanting excursion to visit Etna National Park, immersing yourself in naturalistic sites still preserved in their pristine state, such as the numerous craters and adjacent roads of Europe’s most important and continuously active volcano. Accompanied by specialized guides, we will explore the volcano’s surrounding areas, admiring its history, both ancient and modern. We will begin by showing you one of the oldest lava flow caves, a unique structure; the walls drop sheer, and the condensation of the lava inside the walls makes it humid. The next stop will be a visit to two of Etna’s craters, where you will be shown and explained the craters and the rock formations and lava soil. At the end of the tour, you will be treated to typical local products, starting with sweet treats like honey, and ending with a tasting of our locally sourced foods, such as Etna wine (Nerello Mascalese), caponata (a typical Sicilian dish), and cheeses and cured meats typical of our rich land.
